WEDDING AT HOTEL FARIONES, LANZAROTE
"Hello! I'm Yaiza and I'm the sister of Alba who lives in New York but is getting married in Lanzarote and we really liked your work and we would like to make a video call so that they get to know each other and you can show them your work"
That's where it all started with them. The Video Call to Rochester, New York was a non-stop laugh and excitement with the illusion of "getting married" in Lanzarote and in a newly renovated Hotel like the Hotel Fariones in Puerto del Carmen in Lanzarote.
When they arrived in Lanzarote we did the pre-wedding session so that they would get used to being in front of a camera and let loose with it.
The day came and nerves were on edge. The words of so many nerves mixed with the illusion of marrying the love of her life did not come out to the bride: Juan. A New Yorker of Puerto Rican origin and an amazing person (I wish they lived here lol).
What the guests didn't know was that they had a choreography prepared to impress them and it went wonderfully.
As a wedding photographer, one thing I appreciated was the courage to get married in the midst of so many capacity restrictions due to COVID and still not get discouraged and go to the end of the celebration with a smile.
